Crypto investment and fake recovery

The first crime is the fake platform or the “guaranteed” trade. The second crime is the person who finds you afterward and says they can freeze the wallet, talk to the FBI, or release your funds — for a fee. That person is not helping you.

First-hour steps

  1. Write down every wallet address, exchange name, and ATM location.

  2. Contact the exchange or ATM operator in writing.

  3. File IC3 and FTC the same day.

  4. Do not pay a recovery fee, tax, or “unlock” charge.
